The Spirit of Crested ButteCommissioned by the town of Crested Butte, CO. Nicknamed "Ethel" for Ethel Glenn Hier, a female composer who's classical piece "Dragonflies" played in the background as this sculpture was being completed. A dragonfly seemed fitting to represent the colorful, naturally beautiful and slightly eccentric town of Crested Butte, CO, and was officially named "The Spirit of Crested Butte" to reflect that notion. 2019
